The Soap

What are White Cap soaps made of?

Every White Cap formula is made from plant-based and naturally derived ingredients, scented with pure essential oils. No synthetic dyes, no artificial fragrances, no parabens, no sulfates, no phthalates. If you can't pronounce it, it isn't in our soap.

What does “all-natural” actually mean for White Cap?

It means every ingredient comes from a plant or natural mineral source, and every scent comes from real essential oils — never synthetic fragrance. We don't use this phrase loosely. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page.

Is White Cap soap safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Because our soaps are free from artificial fragrances, dyes, sulfates, and parabens, they're gentle enough for most sensitive skin. We always recommend reviewing the ingredient list on the product page if you have a known allergy.

Is White Cap vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes to both. No animal-derived ingredients, and we never test on animals.

What's the difference between the liquid and foaming soap?

Same clean ingredients, different feel. Our liquid soap is rich and moisturizing — great for kitchens and dry hands. Our foaming soap dispenses as soft, airy foam — great for kids, guest bathrooms, and stretching each can further.

How long does one can of soap last?

It depends on your household, but a single can of foaming soap typically lasts a household of two around four to six weeks with regular daily use. Liquid soap runs a bit shorter since each pump uses more product.

The Packaging

Why aluminum cans instead of plastic bottles?

Aluminum is infinitely recyclable — it can be recycled again and again without losing quality. Plastic, by contrast, degrades each time it's recycled, and only a small fraction of household plastic actually makes it through the recycling stream. A White Cap can has a smaller long-term environmental footprint than a plastic bottle — and it looks better on your counter.

How do I recycle a White Cap can?

Rinse the empty can with water, then place it in your curbside recycling bin along with other aluminum. No special drop-off required. The Respenser cap is reusable — keep it and snap it onto your next can.

What is the Respenser cap?

The Respenser™ is our patented reusable pump cap. It clicks onto any White Cap can in a second, and it's designed to be used over and over again. One cap, many cans — that's how we cut single-use plastic out of the equation.

Is the Respenser cap made of plastic?

The cap contains some durable plastic components because reusability is the goal — a cap you keep and reuse for years has a much smaller footprint than the dozens of single-use plastic bottles it replaces.

The Brand

Where is White Cap made?

White Cap is formulated and filled in the United States.

Who started White Cap, and why?

White Cap was started to give people a way to buy soap without buying plastic waste. The average household goes through hundreds of plastic soap bottles in a lifetime. We thought there should be a better option — one that's actually clean, in every sense of the word.
